Most of us depend upon food and a restaurant's look and feel to spice up romance, business lunches, celebrations, lazy brunches and just about any other common occasion.
To 'spice things up', we have hand-picked our chefs from the four corners of the globe, creating menus of distinctive and authentic cuisine. At Hyatt Regency Dubai, we constantly strive to satisfy the gastronomic needs of the hotel guest and visitor.
The tastes of Italy are featured in Focaccia, the traditions of Japan can be tasted in Miyako, the fine art of Persian cooking in Shahrzad, and an around-the-world experience can be had in our revolving restaurant, Al Dawaar. The Kitchen Restaurant, with a 24-hour service and host of popular dishes, will ensure that cravings can be catered for at any time.
A setting for casual dining is provided by Frosty's, the Poolside Snack Bar and the 19th Hole, which is located in the hotel's Golf Park. As you would expect, Hyatt Regency Dubai makes available a 24-hour Room Service menu for total dining privacy.
Hyatt Regency Dubai believes, that together with good food, a healthy social life is important so we have provided a vast number of rendezvous spots. Miyako Japanese Restaurant

Miyako, Hyatt Regency Dubai’s renowned Japanese restaurant reopened in January 2005 after refinement, and now reflects a contemporary yet authentic look, setting the scene for some of the finest Japanese dining in Dubai.
The refined Miyako now offers three teppanyaki tables each of which can cater for parties of up to 6, a centerpiece sushi bar and an authentic tatami room, for a traditional Japanese style dining experience.
Japanese cuisine is famous for its ability to delight a gourmet and satisfy even the most health-conscious diner. It is widely appreciated for the creative ways in which flavours and textures are so deliciously combined. Variety is introduced not only through different ingredients and seasonings, but also by varying the forms of cooking. At Hyatt Regency Dubai's Miyako restaurant, you can enjoy shabu, teppanyaki, tempura, teriyaki or the delights of sushi, sashimi and sukiyaki.
One of the visual highlights of Japanese cooking is teppanyaki, an art employed on a hot skillet in the centre of the table. Although Japanese in origin, it was introduced to the modern restaurant by the Americans by way of a specially designed table with sizzling flat top replacing the traditional skillet. A dexterous and entertaining chef prepares a choice of seafood, meat, vegetables and rice, all before your eyes!
Miyako is the perfect dining destination for Japanese dining connoisseurs and those new to the cuisine. Miyako is the only restaurant in the UAE to serve Shochu, a traditional beverage distilled from wheat, popular amongst the Japanese community in Dubai. If you are experiencing Japanese cuisine for the first time, Miyako’s highly trained staff will easily take you through the Japanese dining experience and help you to select dishes to your taste.
Open seven days a week, for lunch 12.30 – 15.00 and dinner 19.00 – 23.00 (On a Thursday open for dinner until 24.00).

Shahrzad Iranian Restaurant

Shahrzad offers a feast reminiscent of a '1001 nights' fairy tale.
Genuine antiques, old Persian copper lamps, fountains and warm wood columns create a reflection of Iran's romanticism when it was known as Persia. Hyatt Regency Dubai's restaurant, in keeping with tradition, is hand-painted in rich red-maroon, turquoise blue and sun gold.
Greeted by an impressive waiting room, guests enter the main dining area of the restaurant, filled with the Iranian melodies of three musicians. When seated, the kitchen acts as an attraction for guests as they watch chefs prepare and bake bread in the special tanour bread oven and kebabs on the traditional grill. Enveloped by a beautiful wooden floor, tall columns and a light-blue, sculpted ceiling, the room provides a serene and intimate atmosphere.
High, Gothic-style arcades create the breathtaking appearance of the terrace area. Night only enhances the effect, when chandelier and wall lights project a myriad of light shards.
Special functions, exclusive dinners and meetings can be catered for in two private dining rooms. The men's room can contain up to 16 people, seated around a large table, while the ladies' room can accommodate a maximum of ten people.
The dining experience in this Dubai restaurant is fulfilled as guests experience the cosiness of the tea room while drinking authentic Iranian tea. Above the tea area and overlooking the terrace, the smoker's room sets a traditional scene. It is here that guests can enjoy Iranian shisha, more commonly called 'hubbly-bubbly' or the Egyptian shisha, usually softer, as tobacco is generally mixed with honey and flavoured with either strawberry or apple.
