The Dimond Center Hotel is owned by the Alaskan Natives of Seldovia. We invite you to visit our hometown when your sense of adventure takes you beyond your stay in Anchorage. Our concierge books exclusive side excursions to this alluring area for our guests. Our remote village is about an hour away from Anchorage via small plane, across the bay from Homer on the Kenai Peninsula. The Seldovia Native Association, Incorporated has just over 300 members and represents a mixture of the indigenous people of Alaska - Eskimos, Athabascan Indians and Aleuts. Pristine lands owned by the Seldovia Natives include some of the world's most spectacular landscapes. Old growth rainforests, rugged mountains, ice blue glaciers, and sparkling blue-green waters sheltered in dramatic fjords make up our home. Wildlife is abundant, fishing is incredible, and birding or marine mammal viewing are spectacular in our quiet corner of Alaska. |
